College OS offers Google Sign-In as an optional way to create an account and sign in. This page explains what Google account information College OS receives when you choose to use it, and how that information is handled.

Why we use Google Sign-In

Signing in with Google is a convenience: it lets you create and access your College OS account without setting up a separate password. Using Google is entirely optional — you can also create an account with an email address and password.

What Google account information we receive

When you choose to sign in with Google, College OS receives:

Your name, as it appears on your Google account.
Your Google account email address.
A basic profile identifier that lets you sign back in.

College OS does not request access to your Gmail messages, contacts, files, photos, or other Google services through Google Sign-In.

How we use it

To create and identify your College OS account.
To sign you back in on future visits.
To send account-related email, such as sign-in confirmations and support replies.

Google account information is never sold, shared with advertisers, or used for advertising. It is not used to train artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.

Optional connected services

College OS may introduce additional optional Google integrations in the future — for example, syncing deadlines to a calendar. Any such integration will be clearly labeled as optional, will only be enabled if you choose to connect it, and will request only the minimum permissions needed to support the feature you turn on. You will be able to disconnect it at any time.

Your control

Sign out from College OS at any time from Settings.
Delete your account from Settings to remove your College OS profile.
Revoke access at Google by removing College OS from the third-party access controls in your Google Account.
